    Humanner can best be described as a Social IT Project.

    Aimed at improving digital capability in a multi-layered milieu. It will do this typically by facilitating access to the benefits of cloud infrastructure through the application of technological expertise; whether on a consulting basis or through the delivery of managed projects deploying digital macrostructure/microstructure techniques and what might be termed Resource-as-a-Service (RaaS)

    Furthermore, from the point of view of operational and organisational effectiveness, this suboptimal level of access to (and in many cases, understanding of) emerging technology such as cloud infrastructure and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) is characteristic, not just of society in general, but of public service design, development and delivery at local and wider levels. This is aimed at the volunteer / aid / NGO / third / charitable sectors so that these clients, instead of going to different sources to build a patchwork solution to their usage case (which only gets arrived at after much trial and error and itself may simply be the least bad collection of options deployed in isolation) they come to Humanner and it takes away the pain of trial and error, saves time, saves resources, and allows that time and resource base to be better deployed delivering what those organisations deliver as their core mission principles.
















    The reasons for this are complex but can be simplified as a “perfect storm” made up of a lack of funding, deprioritisation and an absence of consistent and committed political will. The service gap is clear, undeniable and, as the forecasted impact and potential benefit of next generation digital infrastructure technology becomes more apparent with each passing financial year, pressing. Humanner resolves the problems of this complexity by seeing them not as problems but as inspirations and potential strengths.


    Building Value from Distributed Networks for Collaboration:

    The Internet, in particular, is increasingly enabling new forms of collaboration, such as in information sharing and problem-solving involving individuals and groups distributed geographically and across the organizational boundaries of firms and public agencies – reconfiguring information and communication flows within and across organizations.

    A growing number of researchers view this as illustrating the value of tapping into the ‘wisdom of crowds’ – the idea that ‘the many are smarter than the few’ (Surowiecki 2004), where a large number of ordinary people can outperform a few experts by sharing information and solving problems.

    This has been categorized as ‘peer production’, ‘social production’, ‘co-production’, ‘cocreation’, ‘mass collaboration’ and by many other labels (e.g. see Surowiecki 2004; Benkler 2006; Tapscott and Williams 2006). However, popular metaphors relating to crowds could be misleading. Individuals enabled by networking are choosing to collaborate with one another in groups that are not limited by time or space, and are doing so in ways that benefit the participants who choose to engage in such collaborations. Far from being about ‘crowds’, the successful initiatives are well-managed, distributed networks of individuals.

    The challenge is to enable managers and professionals within more traditional firms and other placebased or virtual entities to capture the potential value of these new forms of collaboration. Web and other information and communication technology (ICT) advances. These networks are diffusing as rapidly as the Web, and our investigations identified an emerging new picture of their general importance. This led us to change the way we referred to the innovations we were examining. We moved from our original conception of these being ‘Distributed Problem-Solving Networks’ to consider the new phenomena as being ‘collaborative network organizations’ (CNOs). However, while these are new, they are anchored in decades of earlier developments.


    The concept of Social Media is top of the agenda for many business executives today. Decision makers, as well as consultants, try to identify ways in which firms can make profitable use of applications such as Wikipedia, YouTube, Facebook, Second Life, and Twitter. Yet despite this interest, there seems to be very limited understanding of what the term ‘‘Social Media’’ exactly means.

    We begin by describing the concept of Social Media, and discuss how it differs from related concepts such as Web 2.0 and User Generated Content. Based on this definition, we then provide a classification of Social Media which groups applications currently subsumed under the generalized term into more specific categories by characteristic: collaborative projects, blogs, content communities, social networking sites, virtual game worlds, and virtual social worlds.

    The seven functional blocks of social media: 

    The honeycomb of seven functional building blocks: identity, conversations, sharing, presence, relationships, reputation, and groups. Each block allows us to unpack and examine a specific facet of social media user experience, and its implications for organisations. These building blocks are neither mutually exclusive, nor do they all have to be present in a social media activity. They are constructs that allow us to make sense of how different levels of social media functionality can be configured.

    First of all, the «Integrated Community Centers» are a social network like Facebook, while existing not only in the Internet but also in the real world. This social network represents a new social architecture; in other words, a methodology for the organization of communities and public infrastructures. In the future, this network will cover all areas of all cities in the world. General socialization is an important aspect of social networks. Community coordinators will be present at the centers and assist people to better organize the communication and collaboration, for instance, using the Open-space technology

    The Public Platform is the actual product of our business. It consists of four elements:

    ·         Ideology and methodology. Although this is the most "abstract" part of the platform, this is also one of the most important. This whole chapter is dedicated to a multi-angled review.

    ·         Web 3.0 platform represents a new generation of information systems.

    ·         Multi Layered Online Portal is an integrated Internet service built using Web 3.0, which is the main interface of the Public Platform. An overview of the portal and IT platform is given in the chapter 

    ·         Infrastructure of social and business networks: shared physical infrastructure, as well as social resources, network of communities and businesses. Open Source Industry and E-Commerce Digital Ecosystem. This is the most "tangible" part of the platform.

    The platform itself implements three types of architectures.  Integrated together they are called: the platform architecture.

    ·         Information architecture is the art and methodology of organizing information.

    ·         Business architecture is the art and methodology of organizing business.

    ·         Social architecture is the art and methodology of organizing communities.

    There are three principles designed in the platform architecture: open source, meritocracy and mass cooperation.

    ·         Open source is an approach which represents transparency and refers to the idea that social, political or business processes should be visible, accountable and open to public participation.

    ·         Meritocracy represents the assignment of appointments and responsibilities to individuals based upon their specific merits, which are objectively determined through the open peer review and assessment process.

    ·         Mass Cooperation: People participate in large numbers, out of sheer goodwill and helpfulness, to develop great educational material that others want and use.  The possibilities and social benefits of mass cooperation have been proven by Wikipedia.


    NOTE: For brevity, we use the term «open source» as a determinant of all three architectural qualities, by simply saying "open source model", "system", "platform", etc.

    Humanner Platform Module Framework

    The Humanner platform is comprised of a series of modules that can be snapped together in different combinations like a series of molecules combining to create new substances.

    Humanner Platform modules perform logically discrete functions, interacting through well-defined interfaces. Modules are independent pieces of functionality that may be packaged separately or even supplied by different vendors. A module can emit data and / or receive data and / or request data flows. The Module Framework provides an operating environment for these modules to exist and exchange data.

    This modular design has significant advantages for our customers. Most importantly, it allows us to very quickly create affordable customized deployments for our customers. Unlike monolithic applications (where the smallest component is the whole), Humanner Platform wrote several smaller modules separately so that, when composed together, they construct the executable application program. This makes our modular approach far more reusable than a traditional monolithic design, since all of these modules may then be reused without change in other projects, saving you time and money.

    This also facilitates breaking down of projects into several smaller projects so implementation will be more easily assembled by large teams. No team members are creating the whole system, or even need to know about the system as a whole, they can focus just on the assigned smaller task. Compared to monolithic applications, our modular system is also easier to maintain as it is designed to allow repair or replacement of parts of the application without requiring wholesale replacement.

    The Humanner Platform Module framework provides multiple APIs to integrate with any systems. This modular architecture gives a total control over the platform at a fraction of the cost of proprietary commercial software or in-house solutions.

    Humanner provide a platform that enables individuals and groups working on solutions to drive different stages of change, from inspiration to implementation.

      Humanner Social Network Collaborative Innovation Platform combine three Type of the Social Networks. In some ways, networks can be thought of as neighbourhoods, since networks are comprised of the actors and the relationships between those actors. These actors, referred to as nodes, can be individuals, organizations or companies. Regardless of what they are, they are always the smallest single unit inside a network. If you view the United Nations as a social network, the United States would be a node or actor inside the network.

    The three types of social networks that social scientists explore are ego-centric networks, socio-centric networks, and open-system networks.

    • Ego-centric networks are connected with a single node or individual. For example, you, the node, connected to all your close friends.
    • Socio-centric networks are closed networks by default. Two commonly-used examples of this type of network are children in a classroom or workers inside an organization.
    • In open-system networks, the boundary lines are not clearly defined. A few examples in this type of network are America's elite class, connections between corporations, or the chain of influencers of a particular decision.

    The platform as an instrument for cooperation

    The Public Platform is self-sufficient and through cooperation at its core, allows for the invention and development of any other architectures, systems and solutions. The resulting socioeconomic environment formed on top of the Public Platform consolidates cohorts of socially active individuals, entrepreneurs and innovators. The platform equips them with a shared vision, strategy and tools for collaboration.

    The platform enables the participation of all interested people in the creation of policy and standards, just as is currently done with wiki documents. It unleashes a vast amount of untapped human and technological potential and directs it all towards the prosperity and well-being of our entire civilization.

    The platform as an instrument for guiding society

    The Public Platform is also an instrument used for conveying to people a positive worldview of high moral standards, which rises up to replace the prevailing principle of "divide and conquer". This “old paradigm” has been dominating for thousands of years and today is sold to us under the guise of the "American democracy", capitalism, liberalism, pluralism, and other false "isms", for amusing the mind.

    From a business perspective, our proposed socioeconomic model adopts a triple bottom line (3BL): People, Planet and Profit. The essence of this model is that measuring the success of the organization involves such criteria as environment and society, not just the economy.

    The platform’s information space will be free, open, transparent and meritocratic; making it an ideal space for innovation. There is no direct structural influence on society in this space. Society will be guided indirectly by the core principles and ideologies woven within the platform’s architecture.

    The platform as an economic instrument

    The Public Platform forms an open information environment in which businesses and communities together cooperatively develop business strategies, discuss old products and design new ones. In the initial stage, our team will build a sample network of businesses by reverse engineering the businesses belonging to our partners and integrating them into the ecosystem for free. Later on, as critical mass is built up, the ecosystem will expand at the expense of the common initiative.

    A separate business process is an elementary particle in this ecosystem. Each business process might have its own group of entrepreneurs and inventors that continuously improve this process.

    Processes are modeled so as to be scalable, easily customizable and integratable with each other. For each business process, its designers describe a clear procedure for the deployment and execution in real conditions, design vectors of input and output resources, and develop a model of staff motivation using a percent of the profits.

    The usefulness of each process is evaluated in terms of the Triple Bottom Line. Constant growth of the network of open source business processes leads to the formation of a multi-dimensional, decentralized, self-organizing and highly dynamic meritocratic cyber organism. Each cell and process is transparent to everybody and managed by individual people in parallel to the principles of cooperation outside of any management hierarchy.

    Deploying such a system globally enhances the overall coherence of all human economic activities. Through decentralization, the failure of one business process does not lead to a tangible problem for the entire economic organism. In other words, for the first time in business architecture of such scale, we apply the principles of distributed networks, which lead to a greatly increased fault-tolerance.

    In regards to the functionality provided by the Online Portal, we will incrementally build an extensive solutions portfolio for various business processes of various industries. This includes the selection and management of suppliers and supply (sourcing), logistics and marketing, product development and quality management. In short, we provide a complete ERP system. Such giants as SAP or Sales Force have invested thousands of man years for the conceptualization, development and operation of these processes. Our intention is to re-engineer this expertise into an integrated open source eco-system, which on its own, actualizes an alternative socio-economic model conducive to our planet's ecology as well as the holistic spiritual and technologic evolution of humanity.

    It is clear that traditional models of community are no longer useful in today’s society. Connectivity is what makes individuals and communities influential, resilient and adaptable. An understanding of the multiple, contingent and strategic nature of social identities enables both policymakers and practitioners to fashion interventions and opportunities that engage with the reality of community life and encourage people to participate in all kinds of civic and collective action.

    The findings and issues revealed by the various projects in the Identities and Social Action programme have confirmed important knowledge about the links between people’s identities and how these underpin relationships between different sections of society. Communities cohere, connect and compete through different aspects of people’s bodies, beliefs and everyday lives.

    Our community is a meeting place where “purpose-driven people … connect and build solutions for a better world.” Members are social entrepreneurs who work, collaborate, prototype, test new products, refine business models and policies, access funding and sponsorship, launch marketing campaigns and new ventures … all in a creative, collaborative community.


    Supporting people to share and take joint action on everyday experiences and quality of life concerns, at the neighborhood level, or across a wider coalition, is an effective way of generating cohesion effects.


    The future is written in code and like any code base it evolves over time, through collective input, experimental impulse, and a communal desire to find working answers to the question;

    "This is what I need to do, how can I do it better?"

    In a way that benefits all, rather than a few.

    Collaborative Innovation by Deliberative Virtual Society


    Deliberative theorists look to global civil society as an agent for reforming and democratising global governance. Some charge it with fostering a democratic public sphere, others seek to ‘open up’ international organisations to wider forms of public reason-giving, while others task global civil society with democratising discourses of globalisation and global governance.

    Deliberative process

    The theory behind the protection is that by guaranteeing confidentiality, the government will receive better or more candid advice, recommendations and opinions, resulting in better decisions for society as a whole. The deliberative process privilege is often in dynamic tension with the principle of maximal transparency in government. A process known as deliberative collaborative governance that enables more meaningful public participation in issues that matter, with greater decision-making transparency, accountability and perceived legitimacy, has been demonstrably effective in helping to redress the governance gap.

    Sustainability issues involve complex interactions between social, economic, and environmental factors that are often viewed quite differently by disparate stakeholder groups.

    Issues of non-sustainability are wicked problems that have many, often obscure causes, and for which there is no single, straightforward solution. Furthermore, the concept of sustainability is itself contested. For example there are disputes over whether a strong or weak interpretation of sustainability should be adopted.

    In cities, as elsewhere, sustainability therefore requires discursive plurality and multiple sites of action. It is the thesis of Humanner effective problem solving, decision-making and enacting of a sustainability agenda require deliberative collaborative governance, a logical hybrid of the closely related fields of deliberative democracy and collaborative governance.


    We provide a provisional typology of different modes of deliberative collaborative governance, explaining each with a sustainability example, with a particular focus on initiatives.
